Strings on a newly purchased instrument or strings purchased at and installed by The Violin Shoppe are warranted against breakage for 30 days.
Bow hair is warranted for 60 days.
Accessories and cases are warranted for six months against manufacturing defects.
Repairs are warranted for one year.
NO-RISK PURCHASE POLICY:   Instruments may be returned within 30 days if brought back in their purchased condition.

Two year buy-back policy: Instruments may be traded in within two years of the purchase date at full value minus refurbishing costs and subject to availability of stock, towards the purchase of an upgraded instrument.

Refurbishing costs may include, but are not limited to:
...Replacing strings or bow hair six months or older
...Cleaning a dirty instrument
...Repairing damaged varnish
...Repairing cracked or damaged wood
...Repairing a warped or damaged bow
...Accessories are not included in the buy-back policy
...Damaged or excessively dirty cases will not be bought back

Rent-to-own warranty: The Violin Shoppe owns the rented instruments until the rental contract is ended.   Normal repairs/adjustments will be made at no charge.   No warranty is provided for stolen or abused instruments.

Instruments purchased outright receive a two year warranty on open seams, a loose neck, a loose fingerboard, broken tailpiece/tailgut.

No warranties are given for abused instruments. No coverage is provided for stolen instruments.
