  • Repaired in 1926 by B. F. Phillips, 931 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA
  • Past work includes a grafted neck, peg bushings, back seam re-inforcing and a sound post patch
  • Re-varnishing might have been done
  • The top is medium-grained spruce, the back is two-piece flamed maple
  • The fingerboard is ebony and the fittings are boxwood
  • Dominant strings
  • Rich, full sound with an especially nice "G" string
