Description: Possible old British violin.   This is an unusual instrument.       The neck and endblock are one-piece.  Note the narrow and deep pegbox.  The top is a two-piece, wide grained spruce;  the back is two-piece, somewhat flamed maple.   It has no purfling and the channel is quite deep. The f-holes do not have nicks to indicate the string length.   One piece lower rib.  Pro Arte strings.  Rosewood-overlaid, quite flat fingerboard;  boxwood pegs, tailpiece and chinrest.     Imitation bone endbutton.  Great sound.
